If you’re making a list of OG’s in the street art and graffiti game, and Blek le Rat is not on that list… then your list is shit! Blek is widely recognized as one of the very first graffiti artists in France and possibly the first known stencil artists period! His influence on the scene is immeasurable and the similarities between his work and that of Banksy is undeniable. Blek is still active in the streets almost 50 years after he began and we were lucky enough to have him sit down with us during a stop in Berlin for the grand opening of the Urban Nation museum which he was a part of.
