2016
TWO THOUSAND SIXTEEN
Back to London and Berlin
Miami, London, Hamburg, and Berlin — VantagePoint really got around in 2016. The year kicked off in Miami’s Wynwood, where the team recorded interviews with Greg Mike and Evoca1 out of the back of the Montana x Heineken Box Truck, a mobile art gallery produced by ABV Gallery that cruised through Art Basel. Soon after, they crossed the Atlantic for two road trips north — first to Hamburg and then to London — sitting down with a heavyweight lineup including D*Face, SHOK-1, Jimmy C, Caratoes, and Remi Rough.
Returning home to Berlin for the second half of the year, VantagePoint continued with long-coveted interviews featuring Monk, ABOVE, Rylsee, Marina Zumi, WESR, and Vermibus. The year closed with Urban Nation’s PROJECT M, which brought a wave of international talent through the city — and VantagePoint seized the opportunity, recording with The London Police, Askew ONE, Borondo, Faith47, and 2501.
